FBAR Filing Form (FinCEN Form 114)

You must file FinCEN Form 114 (FBAR) if the total balance of all your foreign financial accounts exceeded $10,000 at any time during the calendar year.

Section I. Filing Information

Name this filing so you can recognize it later (example: “Smith 2025 FBAR”).
Select the calendar year you are reporting (the year the accounts existed).

Choose the filer type that matches how the accounts are owned (most people select “Individual”).
Choose one method of identification from the list below
Select the ID type you will use for this filing. Use SSN/ITIN for individuals; EIN for entities.
Enter the ID number with numbers only (no spaces or dashes). Example: 123456789.

Individual's date of birth

Enter the filer’s last name (individual) or legal organization name (entity).

Filer Address

Select the country where the filer’s address is located.
Street address (include apartment/unit if applicable).
City for the filer’s address.
Does the filer have a financial interest in 25 or more financial accounts?
If you had 25+ foreign accounts with a financial interest, you can file using the “25 or more” method (you’ll enter the count, but not each account detail).
Does the filer have signature authority over but no financial interest in 25 or more financial accounts?
If you have signature/other authority over 25+ accounts but no financial interest, you can use the “25 or more” method (you’ll enter the count below).
