If you complete an FBAR submission (including payment and authorization), we retain information as necessary to provide the service and to meet compliance and recordkeeping obligations.

  • Records associated with completed filings may be retained to satisfy federal recordkeeping, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Retention periods are determined by applicable laws, regulations, and government compliance obligations.
  • Information related to completed submissions cannot be deleted upon request while retention obligations apply.
